Victorians Museum

Year 5 have been working on something special this term. Take a look at our Virtual Museum where we have learnt all about the Victorians through the Expressive Arts! 

At the start of the year, we received an important video from 'Cardiff Museum'. In this video, the manager sent us a very important mission and asked us if we were able to create our own virtual museum for people to find out more about the Victorians. We took on the challenge and became historians!

All our work has been centred around our museum. We have completed newspapers and diaries in our literacy lessons and in our topic lessons we have learnt about the Victorians through the Expressive Arts. We split into five groups; drama, digital media, film, art, music & dance. We chose which Expressive Arts group we wanted to join and we led these groups through pupil voice. Take a look and see!

World War One Project

This website was built as part of our studies marking the centenary of World War One.  It was created by pupils across Years 3 - 6 over the course of nine days.
