November 2019: Healthy Schools - Maes yr Haul awarded 'Healthy Schools Award Level 5'
A few of our whole school achievements
January 20: Maes yr Haul continues to gain the highest level 'green' in annual school categorisation (6th consecutive year since categorisation began).
July 19: Academic - 100% of pupils in Key Stage Two achieved at least Level 4 and above in Mathematics and Science.
December 18: Maes yr Haul selected to be one of only 18 Lead Partner Schools for the Yr Athrofa Professional Learning Partnership
June 18: Maes yr Haul gains two 'excellent' judgements in latest Estyn Inspection and invited to submit an effective practice case study for wellbeing and attitudes to learning.
January 18: Academic - 100% of pupils in Foundation Phase achieve at least Outcome 5 in Personal, Social, Wellbeing & Cultural Development.
July 17: Academic - Over 50% of pupils in Key Stage Two achieved at least Level 5 in the three core subjects.

March 2018: Cross-Country - Winners in the Years 3 & 4 girls division in Bridgend finals.

March 2018: Music - Year 6 Samba band invited to attend the National Music Festival, following performance at the Music for Youth Festival in Bridgend.
