Pupils with special needs
All homework tasks will be set appropriate to the ability of the child. If a child has special needs the homework may be adapted so that the child can complete the tasks in a way that is purposeful and meaningful to that child. Some children may need extra practice “little and often” to improve skills such as handwriting and spelling, care will be taken not to overload pupils who are not able to cope. Similarly, pupils at the other end of the special needs spectrum may require more challenging homework.
