On Friday 11 March, Maes yr Haul hosted a home netball game against Ogmore Vale Primary. We played 2 teams, both an A team and a B team. Maes yr Haul won both games, A team won 8-1 and the B team won 3-0. Another fantastic win, the girls are really proving themselves this term.


On Friday 18th March, Maes yr Haul hosted another home game against Penyfai Primary. We had 2 teams ready to play, and both teams won their matches.
A's won 17-0 and B's won 18-0. This netball team is becoming unbeatable !! Our next game is Friday 25th March away to Nottage. I will keep you posted with the scores.

Just a reminder that Tuesday 29th March is our last training session with our last possible match on Friday 1st April.

On Thursday 10th March, Maes yr Haul hosted a netball and football tournament, linking our Welsh cluster schools as part of our India project. Pupils and staff from our Welsh cluster, Malpas Court Newport and Gilwern Primary, Abergavenny travelled to Maes yr Haul and took part in our event.

We had an afternoon of netball and football, and teams were made up of pupils from the 3 schools. Our pupils were encouraged to work as part of a new team, find out about each other and share experiences. It was a very successful event and everybody enjoyed.

Netball news so far this Spring term.

Friday 28th January home game against Trelales A team lost 3-1 B team won 2-1 and C team won 11-1.

Friday 4th February away game against St Clares A team won 16-5 and B team won 8-2.

Well done girls, fantastic results, this Friday 11th February we are playing Oldcastle at home. I will keep you posted with the scores.

Well done to Maes Yr Haul’s cross country team who competed at Porthcawl on Saturday November 20th 2010 and are currently in third position in the league.
